Dutch Rhythm Combo
Conceived as an imaginary band, the Dutch Rhythm Combo, presents a range of musical genres that fuse dub, disco and tropical tunes in an organic style. The prefix "Dutch" relates to the biographic roots of Felix Haaksman, who's family comes from the Netherlands, to which Felix is very specially related to.
The Dutch Rhythm Combo's second release, the legendary "Antilles EP", was released in 2004, followed by the "Venom EP" in 2005. Joe Dukie from New Zealand's hot reggae-soul outfit Fat Freddys Drop was the guest voice on this third record release by Dutch Rhythm Combo. Recorded on the hottest day of the Berlin summer, "Venom" sweats excellent funky rhythm and soul grooves in a nice disco boogie outfit.
